In the beginning of the season in August the team performed in Art of Ice -gala in Bern, Switzerland. The results of the team had an upward trend being first in the Finnish Championship Competitions. There were altogether 16 first-timers in the World Championships. Second position in the short program entitled to silver small medals in the free progam.
